Scott Safford has been a resident of Fort Myers Beach for the last 15 years. He owned the Sea Gypsy Inn and currently is the owner of Sea Gypsy Vacation Rentals on 
Fort Myers Beach. A longtime member of the business community, Safford served as a member of the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for 8 years prior to joining Council.
He has his Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Dallas and his Masters degree in International Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
A few fun facts about Safford are he was the Florida State Champion in Curling three years in a row, his favorite food is tacos, and he enjoys taking walks on the beach with his goldendoodle Mac!
