Over the years, many residents and visitors have been surprised to learn that Bay Oaks Recreational Campus exists. Part of the reason is that it's not visible nor does it have direct access from Estero Boulevard.
That's about to change as part of the Town's redevelopment project for Bay Oaks.
This week, it was exciting to see the parcel of land that the future entrance to Bay Oaks from Estero Boulevard will occupy readied for construction.
