The Town's first project funded by the Local Agency Program (LAP) through the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is well underway! The Town obtained LAP certification in 2020.
Construction on a new traffic signal at Old San Carlos and Estero Boulevards began in August and is expected to be complete by the end of this year. Last week, "uprights" were put in place. Installation of the mast arm is next.
The cost of this project is $776,511, and Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC, is the contractor.
