[ARCHIVED] Pedestrian safety is top concern from survey

Since May, the Public Safety Committee has been collecting responses to an online survey asking 31 questions about a variety of public safety topics in Fort Myers Beach. 

More than 600 completed surveys were received. The Public Safety committee reviewed the responses at its monthly meeting on June 15. 

These were the topics of most concern, in order of priority.  

  • Pedestrian Safety
  • Homeless Persons
  • Bike traffic lanes
  • Street lighting
  • Neighborhood safety
  • Lee County Sheriff's response
