There is a growing number of programs available from the federal government. The CARES Act provides funding for the new Paycheck Protection Program, makes modifications to and expands the eligibility of the existing Economic Injury Disaster Loan program (EIDL), and provides immediate loan payment relief for current SBA loan program borrowers. These changes and new programs offer immediate and substantial emergency capital assistance available to our state’s small businesses.
Join a Facebook Live event Thursday, April 9, starting at 2:00 PM EST (1:00 PM CST), whereby Florida SBDC Network CEO Mike Myhre will provide an overview of the U.S. SBA’s disaster loan programs available in Florida to help small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of COVID-19. During the event, Mike will address frequently asked questions, eligibility requirements, and provide an opportunity for businesses and the public to ask questions in real-time.
How and When Do I Join? RSVP to the SBDC Facebook Event page here to be notified when the event is starting on the page. There will be a link to the event posted when it goes live. OR visit the Florida SBDC Facebook page here on Thursday, April 9th at 2:00 PM EST (1:00 PM CST) to tune in to the live event that will be linked and viewable on our timeline. |
