[ARCHIVED] TODAY on Facebook: Learn about small business disaster loans

Florida SBDC sba loans FB live 4920

Florida’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) network is hosting a Facebook Live event TODAY (Thursday, April 9) from 2 to 3 p.m. to provide information about small business disaster loans.

There is a growing number of programs available from the federal government. The CARES Act provides funding for the new Paycheck Protection Program, makes modifications to and expands the eligibility of the existing Economic Injury Disaster Loan program (EIDL), and provides immediate loan payment relief for current SBA loan program borrowers. These changes and new programs offer immediate and substantial emergency capital assistance available to our state’s small businesses.

Join a Facebook Live event Thursday, April 9, starting at 2:00 PM EST (1:00 PM CST), whereby Florida SBDC Network CEO Mike Myhre will provide an overview of the U.S. SBA’s disaster loan programs available in Florida to help small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of COVID-19. During the event, Mike will address frequently asked questions, eligibility requirements, and provide an opportunity for businesses and the public to ask questions in real-time.
