[ARCHIVED] Hurricane Dorian Update #1

Please review your hurricane plan, emergency supplies, medical prescriptions supply, pet supplies, fuel your vehicles and hurricane reentry pass and that all are in place.  We ask that you secure loose objects on your property, refrain from doing tree trimming and other activity that would generate horticulture waste or debris.  If you live in an older manufactured home or a ground level home that poses a storm risk, please consider visiting/staying with friends or family elsewhere. Purple re-entry passes are VALID for residents this year!  Yellow re-entry passes for businesses are VALID.  Bring a utility bill and ID with a Fort Myers Beach address for non passholders.  For the Fort Myers Beach area, solid waste services have been pushed back one day to Thursday (recycle) and Friday (trash) as a result of the Labor Day holiday. Town Hall is closed on Monday, Labor Day.  For the next several days, Town email servers have been secured and Council Members may not have immediate access to their emails.  If you need to reach any of the five elected officials, please use the cell phone numbers below:
