The Building Services Division is currently receiving a high volume of permit applications and questions and our team is working diligently to help everyone as quickly as possible. To help us serve you and all customers more effectively, we are requesting that all those with questions first review the answers to our most frequently asked questions.
Permitting Desk hours have been expanded through March 29, 2023
A temporary change in hours started Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, and is expected to last through March 29, 2023. Town staff are available on Town Hall’s temporary complex at 2545 Estero Boulevard which is the property just south of the Town Hall building that was damaged by Hurricane Ian.
Temporary hours
- Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The intent of this extension of hours is to provide higher levels of service and speed to storm-damage related permitting. During this extended schedule, customers will have access to Community Development staff for permitting assistance by email, telephone, and in-person at the Town Hall Complex.

Public Use Computer and Printer/Scanner:
For those customers without a computer after Hurricane Ian, we have created a permitting computer station and printer/scanner. This system is available for public use at the Community Development department lobby at 2545 Estero Boulevard during open hours.
