Since May, the Public Safety Committee has been collecting responses to an online survey asking 31 questions about a variety of public safety topics in Fort Myers Beach.
More than 600 completed surveys were received. The Public Safety committee reviewed the responses at its monthly meeting in June.
These were the priority topics raised from responses to the survey, in order:
- Pedestrian Safety
- Homeless Persons
- Bike traffic lanes
- Street lighting
- Neighborhood safety
- Lee County Sheriff's response
