Advisories

Posted on: August 23, 2012

[ARCHIVED] Tropical Storm Isaac

Residents are urged to exercise extreme caution when crossing bridges or driving along coastal and low-lying roads. Tides will continue to be 2-4 feet above normal through tomorrow evening, especially during the high-tide event between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM. We still expect 30-40 mph winds, so exercise extreme caution when crossing Matanzas Pass bridge. Monitor local weather advisories.
Regularly scheduled garbage and recyclables collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed for one day.
We urge all islanders to remain vigilant until Isaac has passed.
