Town Council finalizes $10 million loan for Bay Oaks, Bayside Park, Times Square

In its regular bi-monthly meeting on Monday, November 16, Town Councilors finalized the $10 million loan that has been secured through First Florida Integrity Bank to fund improvements for Bay Oaks Recreational Campus, Bayside Park, and Times Square. Resolution 20-51 was adopted at the meeting and authorizes the closing on the tax exempt loan.

At the October 19 Town Council meeting, the firm DRMP, Inc., contracted several months ago to design improvements to Times Square, Bay Oaks, and Bayside Park, presented current design status. At that meeting, Town Councilors gave approval for plans to progress from 60 to 100 percent design for Times Square and from 30 to 100 percent design for Bay Oaks and Bayside Park. DRMP will return to a future Town Council meeting with more detailed plans.
