Mound House Cultural Educational Center
Don’t miss this unique archaeological and historical site off Estero Bay on Fort Myers Beach!
The new museum opened in November 2015 and is located inside the newly restored 1921 William H. Case house. This arts and crafts style building is the oldest standing structure on Fort Myers Beach and sits on top of a 2,000-year-old Calusa Indian Shell Mound.
Immerse yourself in the natural environment of Estero Bay with guided kayak tours, watch for marine life on the observation pier, wander the beautiful gardens, or enjoy one of our programs.
